But I didn’t get here by following the typical path. __________________________________________________________________________________ People spend their entire lives trying to figure out what they’re passionate about, fortunately, I’m lucky enough to have figured out mine pretty early on: travel. Seriously, with all the insane tech and travel options we have these days - why not use it to our advantage? I mean, we’re living in a time where we can fly across the globe in less than 24 hours. Can you even imagine what our ancestors would think of that? Wild.  Growing up, my family always valued experiences over material things, and honestly it’s the best gift I could've been gifted. Forget luxury dinners and designer items, I’ll spend my last dollar on a flight. Sure, I enjoy the occasional fancy thing and treating myself, but that’s just not my vibe if I had to choose that or a zip-line excursion in the Amazon jungle. Travel is the thing you buy that makes you richer.  I’m that one friend on a random Tuesday doing something ridiculous or off the beaten path. I’m the one on the trip that always makes it out of the group chat. When people start a conversation with me, it mostly starts with “so where are you traveling to next” or “where’s your next adventure.” I’m the friend who might not always be there physically, but always a WhatsApp call or FaceTime away.  I’ve built this reputation for myself, especially over the last few years and it wasn’t by accident. I’ve slowly started to build the life that I want, not the life that I thought I needed. It comes with sacrifice but we’ll get to that another day. I book the ticket, pack my bag, and get on the plane. I try not to think twice about it (Of course, I’m still responsible to an extent). In the last few years, I’ve backpacked through countries, crossed off bucket list experiences, and embraced the chaos that comes with spontaneous travel. I’m here to tell you that life is way too short to just sit around waiting. Stop overthinking. Start exploring. The world’s way bigger than your comfort zone.  Why follow along?
